Metro Building is a flexible membership serviced office space located in Belfast City Centre.  The first two floors of this project have been completed and handed over to the client ready for tenants.  The space boasts 9 meeting rooms, board rooms, flexible office spaces, communal and coffee areas and a concierge.

The project is in a great location, but the dated internal fitout of the building had made it hard in the past to attract tenants.  The refurbishment competes with all the other serviced offices in the City Centre and has attracted lots of interest for the landlord from the concept designs. 

At SCC we have been involved from Stage 1, providing the client with costs, feasibility studies and options for replacement or what services could be reused.  

During design we worked closely with the design team to ensure our services which where all exposed tied in with the interiors like baffles and the structural elements of the building.  This took a great deal of coordination between teams. 

Once the project was on site, we attended regular site visits and technical meetings with the contractor and the design team to ensure our design was being followed and the installations were as per our specifications.  As all the services were new, it took a great deal of onsite coordination with the contractor and design team.  Snagging was carried out nearing completion then subsequent site visits to ensure all snags had been picked up and the offices could be handed over to the client.
